pleased to bring
our old New England History to you. Canton,
which was originally part of the Town of Dorchester,
in 1637, is one of the oldest villages in America.
We first hit the web a year ago.
We started with 2 megabytes of web space courtsey of Geocities,
now we span 6 web locations and have 58 megabytes of available space
and our own domain.
These pages were created to provide historical background on this ancient
New England village. Many important events happened here,
prominent Nationally known names are associated with this town, such
as, Paul Revere, General Richard Gridley and Statesman Elijah
A. Morse. These pages also provide a link to past residents
who wish to keep in touch with their old home town. There will
be more geneaology and photos in the coming year.
